A Bollinger 2021-ben, a James Bond-filmsorozat 25. részének, a No Time To Die premierjéhez kapcsolódva mutatta be ezt a limitált kiadású Millésimé 2011 pezsgőt. A kiadás egyben Daniel Craig utolsó szereplésének állít emléket James Bondként, lezárva egy korszakot a legendás filmsorozat történetében.
A készlet központi eleme a különleges, fekete színű 75 cl-es palack, amelyet a Bond-franchise 25. epizódjára utaló „25” motívum díszít. A szám grafikai elemei a korábbi Bond-filmek címeiből épülnek fel, amelyek a hozzá tartozó díszdoboz üvegbetétes fedlapján is megjelennek.
A bemutatódoboz kialakítása jelentős figyelmet kapott. Külső felülete Macassar ébenfa furnérral borított, nyitott pórusú lakkozással, amely megőrzi a fa természetes karakterét. A palack kiemeléséről egy beépített hidraulikus mechanizmus gondoskodik: a „Push and Let Go” rendszer enyhe nyomásra fokozatosan megemeli és előrebillenti a palackot, miközben a fedlap lassan kinyílik.
A fémszerelvények sötét, úgynevezett „gun barrel” árnyalatú anodizált felületet kaptak, utalva a James Bond-filmek ikonikus nyitójelenetére. A fekete belső térben helyet kapott az eredeti ismertető füzet is, míg a füstszínű plexibetéten fehér szitanyomással jelennek meg a Bond-filmek címei és a Bollinger aláírás.
A pezsgő
A Millésimé 2011 különleges helyet foglal el a Bollinger történetében. A cuvée kizárólag Pinot Noir szőlőből készült, amely az Aÿ Grand Cru területről származik, arról a faluról, ahol a Bollinger házat 1829-ben alapították. Ez volt az első alkalom, hogy a pincészet egyetlen évjárat és egyetlen dűlőterület termésére épített dedikált pezsgőt készített.
A 2011-es szüret alapanyaga koncentrált, ugyanakkor jól kiegyensúlyozott karaktert adott a bornak. Az Aÿ terroir jellegzetes Pinot Noir stílusa tisztán felismerhető benne, szerkezetét érett gyümölcsös jegyek, feszes savak és hosszú érlelési potenciál határozzák meg.
A 2011-es évjárat
A Champagne-vidéken a 2011-es év időjárása több szempontból is eltért az átlagostól. A hideg és száraz tél után korán érkezett a meleg idő, a nyár pedig napfényben gazdag volt. Augusztusban és szeptemberben kevés csapadék hullott, ami kedvezett a szőlő egészséges beérésének. A szüret során egységes minőségű, jó állapotú termést takarítottak be.

Bollinger 007 James Bond Limited Edition Millésimé 2011 – Complete Collector’s Set with Original Bottle and Mechanical Presentation Case
Released in 2021 to coincide with the premiere of No Time To Die, the 25th James Bond film, this limited-edition Bollinger Millésimé 2011 commemorates the final appearance of Daniel Craig as 007.
The centrepiece of the set is the distinctive black 75 cl bottle featuring the number “25”, a tribute to the 25th official Bond film. The graphic design of the number is composed of titles from previous James Bond movies, which are also engraved into the glass panel of the accompanying presentation case.
Considerable attention was given to the design of the display box. It is finished in Macassar ebony veneer with an open-pore lacquer that preserves the natural appearance and texture of the wood. A built-in hydraulic mechanism gently elevates and tilts the bottle forward when activated via the “Push and Let Go” system, while the lid opens slowly and smoothly.
The metal components are anodized in a dark “gun barrel” finish, referencing the iconic opening sequence of the James Bond films. Inside, the case is lined in black with ribbon holders for the original booklet, while a smoked plexiglass panel is screen-printed with Bond film titles and the Bollinger signature.
The Champagne
Millésimé 2011 occupies a distinctive place in Bollinger’s history. The cuvée was produced exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown in Aÿ Grand Cru, the village where the Bollinger House was founded in 1829. It marked the first time Bollinger created a champagne dedicated to a single vintage and a single vineyard area.
The 2011 harvest produced a wine with concentration, balance, and a clear expression of the Aÿ terroir. The character of Pinot Noir is evident throughout, supported by ripe fruit notes, fresh acidity, and a structure designed for long-term ageing.
The 2011 Vintage
The 2011 growing season in Champagne was unusual in several respects. A cold, dry winter was followed by an early warm period and a sunny summer. Rainfall during August and September was limited, allowing the grapes to ripen under favourable conditions. The harvest yielded fruit of consistent quality with good freshness and maturity.
