Vintage DELBECK pezsgőhűtő az 1930-as évekből.
Letisztult, kúpos formájú teste sima felületű, amelyet két oldalán barázdált sávok díszítenek, középen pedig egy dombornyomott plakett található, amelyen a „Champagne DELBECK Reims” felirat olvasható. A Delbeck pezsgőház egykor a francia pezsgőrégió egyik kiemelkedő termelője volt, amelynek neve összefonódott a minőséggel és a hagyományos pezsgőkészítési technológiával.
A DELBECK Champagne házat 1832-ben alapította Félix-Désiré Delbeck, egy flamand bankár, aki feleségül vette Baronne Balsamie Ponsardint, a Veuve Clicquot unokahúgát.
A Delbeck pezsgő X. Lajos Fülöp francia királyi udvarának kedvelt itala lett, és 1838-ban hivatalosan is a francia monarchia pezsgőjévé nevezték ki. Its sleek, tapered body has a smooth surface, adorned with grooved bands on either side and a raised central plaque engraved with „Champagne DELBECK Reims.” The cast pewter handles are designed in the shape of grapevines, surrounded by intricately detailed leaves and grape clusters.

The bottom is stamped „ARGIT, MADE IN FRANCE.” Over the decades, the silver plating has almost entirely worn away. There are minor dents and scratches on the sides, and repair marks are visible on the base. However, the cooler remains watertight and ready for use.
A stunning addition to both modern and classic interiors. When not in use, it also serves beautifully as an elegant flower vase.

The Delbeck Champagne House was once one of the most renowned producers in the Champagne region of France, synonymous with quality and traditional champagne-making techniques.
The Beginnings of Delbeck Champagne
Delbeck Champagne was founded in 1832 by Félix-Désiré Delbeck, a Flemish banker who married Baronne Balsamie Ponsardin, the niece of Veuve Clicquot.
Delbeck Champagne became a favorite at the royal court of King Louis-Philippe of France, and in 1838, it was officially designated as the champagne of the French monarchy. As a result, Delbeck became the only champagne permitted to bear the royal emblem and the motto: „Fournisseurs de l’Ancienne Cour de France” (Suppliers to the Former Royal Court of France).
A Rising Reputation
Between 1870 and 1912, the reputation of Delbeck Champagne continued to grow. By 1884, it had become the third most imported champagne in the United States and Canada.
Tradition and Innovation
The Delbeck Champagne House was always known for preserving classic champagne-making methods while continuously striving for innovation in winemaking. It was also an early adopter of sustainability, practicing organic and biodynamic viticulture in certain vineyards, which was pioneering in the industry.
Decline and Legacy
Although the 20th century saw the decline of Delbeck Champagne’s prominence, the name remains cherished among champagne enthusiasts. Today, vintage bottles and accessories, such as champagne coolers and ornate collectibles, are highly sought after by collectors.
The Present
On May 12, 2003, Delbeck Champagne filed for bankruptcy. On April 2, 2004, the brand was acquired by the Martin et Fils wine company, and later, on November 23, 2004, it was transferred to the Charles Laffite champagne house.
