In 2012, David Lynch, director of Twin Peaks and one of Hollywood’s most celebrated filmmakers, unveiled his exclusive design collaboration with Dom Pérignon. The result was The Power of Creation, a limited edition created for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2003 and Rosé Vintage 2000.
According to the brand, the gift box is a kind of “little magic theatre,” much like something Lynch himself might have imagined. Silk ribbons on either end lift the curtain to reveal a mysterious, shadowy interior—an homage to Lynch’s signature chiaroscuro style and enigmatic visual language.
Lynch also created original designs for ten Dom Pérignon Vintage 2000 jeroboams and ten Rosé Vintage 1998 jeroboams. Known for iconic films such as Eraserhead (1977), The Elephant Man (1980), Blue Velvet (1986), Wild at Heart (1990), Twin Peaks (1992), Lost Highway (1997), and Mulholland Drive (2001), Lynch’s cinematic world aligns with the Dom Pérignon ethos: mystery, intensity, commitment, the passage of time, continual reinvention, and above all, unwavering faith in the power of creation.
The limited edition gift boxes are available in two designs: one for the 2003 Vintage and one for the 2000 Rosé. Both feature thick, metallic shields with unique finishes—bronze tones for the Dom Pérignon Vintage, and deep purplish hues for the Rosé—marbled with granite textures and mica-like glimmers.
