A vendéglátásban használt porcelánok gyakrabban sérülnek, törnek össze, mint a vitrinben kiállított díszporcelánok. Mára nagyon kevés ilyen szivarhamutartó maradt meg épségben, ami még inkább növeli ezek értékét és különlegességét a kollekcióban.

These French porcelain products were made in the 60’s and 70’s in limited editions, typically for champagne bars, night clubs and luxury restaurants serving Dom Pérignon Champagne. The production of the DP shield-shaped MOËT cigar ashtrays was discontinued in the early 80s, when cigar smokers started to be driven out of bars, restaurants, revue theatres and clubs in the interest of saving the earth and an imagined brave new world.
Porcelain used in catering is more likely to be damaged and broken than decorative porcelain displayed in display cases. Today, very few of these cigar ashtrays have survived intact, which adds to their value and uniqueness in the collection.

Vintage product in excellent condition. Two grape stems have heavy wear marks, but only Inspector Poirot can find them at first glance.
At a time when smoking sat at its cultural apogee, Moet was sipped in fine stemware and often paired with a premium cigarette or fine cigar. Naturally to take full advantage of this Moet produced its very own premium ashtray. Tastefully branded with the Moet moniker each tray featured a pinot grapevine wrapped about its iconic shield shaped form that displayed on every bottle of the famous Champagne.
The trays were offered in a few different colors each kiln-fire, glazed onto a ceramic body.
